2017-08-02 (Palma de Mallorca) – Part 2
This is been the most exhausting trip by far…
So when I get out of the restaurant, I get into a supermarket nearby to get a 1 L water. In a typical situation, I usually can’t consume a liter of water so I thought it was enough to last me for the rest of the day.
Castell de Bellver is actually 30 minutes away by walking and also 15 minutes by public transport + 15 minutes walking to the bus stop. I take the walking route instead…
Google Maps is extremely misleading in this case. Even though it is a 30 minutes walk on the map, but I have to go through extremely steep steps to get to the castle as it’s located at the top of a hill. Mallorca is also extremely hot that day and it’s just an hour after noon.
On my way to the castle, I just keep sweating and drinking infinite amount of water. I wish I could go back and take the bus route, but because the bus stop and the walking route are in completely different directions, there is no way that I could go back.
I have to sit every 5 or so minutes to take brief stops in order to make it to the castle.
Making a brief stop here so that I don’t die from the heat. Literally, no one is taking this route with me to the castle.
