Welcoming party for all the new incoming students, me included, to the lab. Even though the lab is owned by Nishio Sensei, Hara sensei is actually the person in charge of the administrative. We rarely meet Nishio Sensei because he is too busy with fundraising for the lab and becoming the next president of the university!

Japanese people also like to do Hanami (Cherry Blossom Viewing) at night. I personally prefer the daylight Sakura, but seeing the cherry blossom with lights gives you a very different perspective.
