Nara is around 1 hour away from Kitasenri Station.
Woke up pretty early for this Nara deer encountering!

These well-fed arrogant deer is not even facing the camera.

For lunch, we decided to come to wait in line for an hour under the heat for this famous pot rice.

The food was good, but I personally think the wait was a bit too long.

Little Red Riding God! (Binzuru Pindola Bharadvaja)
Apparently, he loves to be touched. 😉 If you touch his body, it would bring you good luck.
Quote from the sign:
“Pindola was one of the sixteen arahats, who were disciples  of the budda. Pindola is said to have excelled in the mastery of occult powers. It is commonly believed in Japan that when a person rubs a part of the image of Binzuru and then rubs the corresponding part of his own body, his aliment there will disappear.”
