2017-08-01 (Palma de Mallorca)

Mallorca is really beautiful, but this island is extremely hot. This island would definitely be more pleasant if it were a little cooler.

It’s somewhat difficult to find a local tour here (not really that difficult, just that there aren’t a lot of options to choose from).

walked to the pier to wait for the tour bus. It turns out that there are not only one bus tour going on today from here. I think this is the only time in Mallorca I have seen that many English speaking people in gathering around.  

First stop was a “store” that sells all sorts of products. It seems like this place is affiliated with the bus stop and the bus drivers just claim “we have to stop here because of the train passing through.” I doubt that is the case, and basically, everyone in the tour is forced to wait here until “the train passed.”

Then we got to the real first stop – Alcudia Market

It’s a market that opens every Tuesday, and it is one of the biggest markets in the area. Lots of things to see and buy.
