The Royal Miles.
I really like Europe. Everything is so close together and you can pretty much walk to everywhere you want to go.
The distance from my hostel to the royal miles only take a one minute walk and here I am in the old town center.
Unexpected rains bring me to the Edinburgh Castle. It’s always good to buy tickets with your phone online to skip the line at the ticket office.
The Edinburgh Castle is also the place that hosts the infamous military tattoo, which is a month long of entertainment festival, ranging from military performances to dramas and plays. It begins every year in August, and I am leaving right before it begins, avoiding the crowds, but missing out the tattoo. I wish I knew about this before coming to Edinburgh.
