Paris … is a confusing city. To be honest, I don’t really like it.
Because my hotel is in the outskirt of the city center, I had to go through some convoluted bus route in order to get to the tourist attractions.
Apparently, my hotel is located in zone 3, and I have to buy a higher price ticket to go to the city.
Arc de Triomphe
I suppose this is a public architecture, which is open to the general public. Apparently, it costs around 10 euros to just to get close to the arc. It can be view clearly from across the street, and the admission is really not necessary I personally feel like.
Ave des Champs-Elysees
It is a quite long shopping street. Walking down the street, you can reach a couple more attractions.
Palace de la Concorde
Jardin des Tuileries
Musee du Louvre
Pont des Arts (Lock Bridge)
The French government decided not to allow any more locks on the bridge. Their solution is to put ugly wood board to cover the locks…
Finding food in Paris is hard… a decent French restaurant would cost me 60 euros… ended up eating McDonald’s both lunch and dinner (the price is also more expensive than the rest of the Europe)
Eiffel’s Tower
A sudden rain came when I was walking to Eiffel’s Tower… Nowhere to hide… my whole body was all wet including the maps and my phone… and subways are too far away from the site…
