Vatican City
Before I came to Vatican City, I actually had a high expectation of what it looked like because of all the Hollywood movies that took their shoots here. Here I come, Vatican City!
Vatican City is actually a part of Italy. While it is being considered a country, everything inside is actually still Italian, such as Italian cell phone service, Euros, and speaking Italian. On part of the edge of this small country, it is fenced with high walls. However, if you go near St. Peters’ Square, this high wall does not exist, and you won’t even notice there is a difference between Rome and Vatican City from the view. You might think it is just some kind of plaza in Italy.
Vatican Museum is very popular. I woke up late today and arrived the place around 10-11, but it was already filled with people waiting in line to get the ticket inside the museum.
The museum was designed in a nice circular way that when you finished walking through the whole museum, you will eventually get back to the entrance, where the post office is.
I spent the whole day there and walked through the whole museum again because it was too crowded in the morning. It was much better when they were fewer people, and I discovered Van Gough’s painting along the way.
Dinner
Italian Seafood Rice =D Taste so good!
Of course, Pompi’s gelato!
