09/20/2015 Stockholm / Helsinki
Thanks to kasper for suggestion the ferry/cruise ride for just 33 euros. I got to Helsinki for a really cheap price and fun ride.
I had my own cabin and own bathroom. Haha
The cabin doesn’t have Internet access. But the upper deck has very slow Internet available and the cell phone signals.
Kasper is a really nice guy! He picked me up from the pier and showed me around Helsinki, even though he doesn’t really come here often lol
Despite the fact that Helsinki is the capital of Finland, it is actually an very small city in terms of size and population. We only spent less than 3 hours to walk around the whole city from one edge to another.
We walked through a couple of churches and the unpaid area of the museums. And of course, the moominh shop (apparently, it’s from Finland and not Japan.) originally, it’s written as a dark humor story. The moomin papa and mama were gonna commit suicide together!
With three hours of drive, we went back to Kasper’s parents house.
They actually owned a large piece of land and much of their food is actually from their own garden, like the berries and jam.
They also prepared me the mämmi, which is usually available only for Easter. It was really hard to find during this season and I got a chance to tried it haha

Kasper’s Home!!
One of things I did not expect at all was Finnish sauna. When I think of Finland, sauna doesn’t come into mind and wow lol they have the actual sauna in their house, actually two!
Apparently, there are more sauna then cars in Finland lol.To get into a sauna, I am supposed to be fully naked. This is my first time sauna experience and I didn’t expect myself could sweat that much as I am not a sweaty person and I literally saw my sweat dripping off my body lol
