It’s good that my hostel is at the perfect location, right next to King’s Cross Station.
Having been away from Popeyes for so long, I really need my fried chicken fix. Then, I came along to this fried chicken sandwich place, which is amazing! The ratio of the batter and the chicken is just right. As a fried chicken enthusiast, I approve this burger :D. I would definitely come back for this.
The Wallace Collection
The moment I step into this privately owned museum, the security guard stops me right in front of the entrance and tells me I look like so tired that it seems like I haven’t slept for years.(Thanks for telling me that. I have horrible jetlag mostly because of the lack of AC.)
Because this collection is privately owned, they put in extra precautions into protecting their exhibits. Some of the paintings are covered by clothes to be kept in dark, and you only get to see the paintings by lifting the cloth and illuminating the backlight. I always love the distinction of London and the City of London. Daniel and I thought the weather was going to be horrible from the weather forecast, but it turns out that London really likes my presence here.
Just in time to catch the train to DLR to Greenwich. I feel so lucky to go to Greenwich for real this time experiencing the GMT timezone. That’s the line that defines the absolute time zone and every tourist gotta get a picture of this manmade imaginary line that divides the world into different time zones. Bunch of tourists happily gathered around the line. So glad that I get to enter the Royal Observatory Greenwich this time because of summer extended open hour schedule. The absolute must boat ride to Westminster. Passing through London Bridge with a different angle
