Meal before landing in Lisbon
Apparently Lisbon Airport was pretty busy when we landed. Shuttle connecting to the immigration gate.
Ta-Da! Another stamp on my passport!
Lisbon Airport
Only about 30 minutes away from the city center. Convenient location and great access for a short city explore around the city for just 6 hours of transfer.
Viva Travel Card (just 6 Euro for a day pass for unlimited travel within Lisbon – Ferry, Subway and Buses)
I got this card from the subway station. Well, according to Tripadvisor from years ago and Google maps, it is faster and more convenient to take the bus to the city center instead of the taking the subway.
The bus runs through the city for a local experience. It turns out it should be faster to take the subway to get to the city because of traffic.
Marquês de Pombal
Walking along Av. Da Liberdade to Rossio. There were just high ended fashion stores along the street.
It was quite a long walk to Rossio. I took the subway instead of just walking for the one station haha
Rossio
Bertrand Bookshop
Bertrand Bookshop, Lisbon, established in 1732, is the oldest operating bookshop in the world. I have my laptop in my backpack and the security detector won’t stop beapping haha
Haha even Portugual has Sephora, but not Germany
Praça do Comércio
Cais das Colunas
Ponte 25 de Abril
Suspension bridge connecting the city of Lisbon to the municipality of Almada on the left (south) bank of the Tejo river. Because it is a suspension bridge and has similar coloring, it is often compared to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, US. It was built by the American Bridge Company which constructed the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge, but not the Golden Gate.
Alfama district
Igreja de São Domingos
ANA Lounge
It’s just a name of the Lounge. It has nothing to do with ANA. It was quite comfortable with a huge collection of beverages, though the selection of snacks was limited.
I love this pear juice.
Paris!
