Rome is a city that is both modern and historical.
On one side of the city, you can see urban attractions, high technology train station, etc. On the other side, you will be able to see something that is well preserved from as far as 2 BC. It is just incredible!
The Colosseo and the Palatino

I woke up pretty late this morning around 11 am, so I got there a bit late.
Your ticket purchased at either Colosseo or Palatino can be used towards both entrance for once each, so if you want to skip ahead of the line, you can buy ticket from the Palatino entrance.
Well, as I was already in Palatino, why not pay a visit over there first!

Basically, this place is the palace of the ancient Rome Empire.
These are historical sites of the buildings that were inside the palace, such as gardens and churches.

This old Roman City was built with a lot of different marbles from many parts of the world.

The Colosseo

After I finished visiting the Palatino, it was already 3:45 pm. The last admission to Colosseo was 3:30 pm. Luckily, the ticket is valid for two days, I can still go in tomorrow.
Altar of the Fatherland
Admission is free without going into the museum. There is an elevator that goes to the top of the structure, but since it’s starting to rain. I didn’t go up.
Capitoline Museums
Nothing really special here. Reduced Non-Residential Student Ticket 13 Euros. Full Price 15 Euros. It is not very huge compared to other big museums. The collections were also very limited.
