Foreigner District
Kobe was once a port city that opened to foreigners. Thus, many foreign countries have their embassies here in Kobe, and that area of embassies has become the foreign district.
Many of the architectures are in western styles, and the Japanese people decided to keep it that way. All of the embassies are no longer in use. They were remodeled and opened to the public as museums or restaurants.
Kobe is amazing!

Kobe Chinatown (Nankinmachi)
One of the three only Chinatowns in Japan: Kobe, Yokohama, and Nagasaki.
It doesn’t look like any of the Chinatowns I have visited before. It does however looks like a Chinatown you would see in Japanese anime or in a Japanese computer game. Lanterns everywhere. Everything is decorated with the color red. People yelling really loud to attract customers (It is considered really rude in Japanese culture, but it doesn’t apply in Japanese Chinatown because of their stereotype of how Chinese people are).

Secret Music Fountain in Kobe Harbor
As I am exploring the city, I discover that there is a music fountain that is near the harbor. Bonus to my adventure!
Really love this veggie Ramen! Most of the ramen in Japan are heavily flavored with Tonkotsu soup base. This kind of veggie ramen is rare and I totally love it!
