Apparently, there is a church on the other side on the Vatican City in the St. Peter’s Square. I woke up a little late today, but the square was already filled up with people with a long line (almost half of St. Peter’s Square parameter)!
I still got a lot of places to visit, so I just moved on to other places.
First point!
Piazza del Popolo and Villa Borghese
Walking up from Piazza del Popolo, you can see the whole view of the Vatican City and the west side of Rome. The view up there is so beautiful!
Spanish Step
The Spanish Step is crowded as usual, super crowded, but it is close to Pompi! Gelato Time!
National Gallery of Ancient Art in Barberini Palace
Tevi Fountain
In January, which is a low season, a lot of the attractions are doing maintenance, including Tevi Fountain.
Jewish Pizza
Han highly recommended this place, but it was so hard to find because the address he gave me was not exact.
I went there late in the afternoon, so the bread is clearly not freshly baked, so the one I ate wasn’t the best. The crust is overcooked, but it has a lot of “gems” inside, various of nuts and soft jello candy. I personally don’t like it because it is not too warm, but I bet I would be better if it were hot.
Portico of Octavia
Tempio di Ercole Vincitore
Basilica di Santa Maria in Cosmedin
The best attraction is La Bocca della Verità. Waiting for so long for taking this picture.
Basilica of St. John Lateran
Last Stop of the Day – bought three postcards here haha
